The Bethesda Indiana Jones Game Will Be An Xbox Exclusive
In 2021, Bethesda and MachineGames announced that they were making a new Indiana Jones game. It was previously slated for a multi-platform release but is now confirmed to be an Xbox exclusive.
During today’s trial between Xbox/Activision and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Bethesda senior vice president of global marketing and communications Pete Hines revealed that Disney originally had an agreement with ZeniMax for a multiplatform AAA Indiana Jones game.
However, after Microsoft purchased Bethesda, the agreement with Disney was amended to make the Indiana Jones game an Xbox exclusive. What this means is that it will launch for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass and PC, but not on the PS5.
FTC lawyer questioning Bethesda's Pete Hines confirms that Disney had a deal for an Indiana Jones game that'd be for multiple consoles. Hines confirms. FTC says deal was amended post-acquisition to be Xbox only for consoles.

The Indiana Jones game is being developed by MachineGames, best known as the developer of Wolfenstein The New Order and Wolfenstein The New Colossus. It hasn’t been revealed what genre the game will be.
