Xbox Slashes Game Pass Trial Period In Time For Its One Big Major Release
After its Xbox Game Pass trial period has come back since March, company Microsoft/Xbox decides to reduce the length of its US$1 Game Pass trial in time for one of its biggest release.
Xbox will be reducing the Xbox Game Pass US$1 trial from a month to 14 days (via XGP) for all regions, including Singapore.
This is most likely Starfield-related; 30 days is enough to finish a game like it and then unsubscribe, making players just pay US$1 for Starfield. After all, Xbox’s biggest RPG from Bethesda is available free out of the gate day 1 on Xbox Game Pass.
The US$1 trial offer came back following Microsoft’s decision to raise Game Pass prices to an extra dollar or two (depending on the region). For more on Starfield, check out our coverage.
