Starfield: How To Get A Powerful Spacesuit Very Early In The Game
In the new Bethesda RPG Starfield, you end up at The Lodge pretty early in the game after a series of events where you touch a magic space rock. This happens barely an hour in once you start.
The Lodge is the hub where the group known as the Constellation are; this is the default group you’re in during the game’s main quest. The hub has all you need: a place for you to rest, awesome Constellation companions to talk to, and some secrets.
One of them is a glass case in a basement that displays the Mark I spacesuit, space helmet, and pack. Unfortunately, it’s locked and requires Master level lockpicking to sort out. The game is designed so that you can only unlock it mid-game, but there’s a way to bypass it.
Check out our video walkthrough on how to score this spacesuit set very early in the game without the need for a digipick.
The trick is to look through the glass case’s tiny vertical slit, and then adjust your camera so that your crosshair/centre targets the mannequin instead of the door/lock. It takes a while to do it, but it’s possible with a bit of patience (and low sensitivity controls). We suspect that you can attempt this with other glass cases with tiny slits housing valuable goods behind a Master lock. Until Bethesda Game Studios patches this out, you might as well go on a crime spree with little effort.
