[Updated] Overwatch World Cup 2023 – Teams, Schedule, & Results
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|November 5, 2023|0 Comment
To say that it’s been a long time since the last Overwatch World Cup would be a massive understatement. Three long years it’s been since the last and a lot has changed in the Overwatch landscape. We’ve since moved over to 5v5 with the release of Overwatch 2 and many of the familiar faces we used to watch and support have either retired to become streamers or moved over to other games.
So with the Overwatch World Cup now underway after its three-year hiatus, I’m sure there will be many new fans and faces who may be interested to know the comings and goings of this monumental event. And if you’re an Overwatch veteran who still suffers from PTSD from the GOATS meta (god bless you), perhaps let’s take this tournament as an opportunity to view Overwatch through a different lens, a fresh perspective as Overwatch 2 is very much a different game to what it was this time three years ago.
Below you will find everything that you will need to know regarding the World Cup, from teams and players, to match times and results.
