Last year, we were given the opportunity to interview none other than the former Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and current Dark Lord Of The Sith Darth Vader; Hayden Christensen himself.
The Nightsister Witches even give her a magical flaming sword called the Blade Of Talzin, presumably to fight Ahsoka and the other Jedi with.
Talzin was the Clan Mother of the Nightsisters and she was featured in Star Wars The Clone Wars animated series. She used the Blade Of Talzin when fighting against Master Mace Windu, but she was defeated.
Huyang taught Kanan Jarrus how to build a lightsaber when he was a Jedi youngling. He even refers to Kanan as Caleb. Caleb Dume is Kanan Jarrus’ real name. He only adopted the name Kanan Jarrus after going into hiding following the Great Jedi Purge AKA Order 66.
And it’s a blue one. His previous lightsaber was a green blade, which is currently being used by Sabine. However, his very first lightsaber was also blue.
According to Huyang, Ahsoka stopped training Sabine because she was afraid that Sabine would become “dangerous” and use her Jedi abilities to take revenge against the Imperial remnants for the Great Purge Of Mandalore, which happened after the Battle Of Endor (and was referenced and partially shown in The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett).
We’re finally shown why they’re called “Night Troopers”. The Nightsister witches can resurrect them from afar using their dark magick. A little horror is always fun. They even growl and groan like zombies.
Throughout this season of Ahsoka, we’ve learnt how weak Sabine’s Force abilities were but now at the end of Ahsoka Season 1, Sabine has finally grown strong enough to perform a Force Push on Ezra to help him jump across to a platform on the Star Destroyer Chimaera.
Sabine is a Jedi, everyone!
So, Grand Admiral Thrawn wins?
Originally featured in Star Wars The Clone Wars animated series, the Father was a powerful Force wielder who resided in the realm of Mortis. His children, the Daughter and the Son, represented the light side and the dark side of the Force, respectively. The Father sacrificed his own life while the Son died after being defeated by Anakin Skywalker.
Ezra is home.
The Ahsoka Season 1 finale ends with Force Ghost Anakin Skywalker watching Ahsoka and Sabine from afar.
Dave Filoni is currently working on a movie that will culminate everything from The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. However, there is no release date yet for this movie.
Until the next one, excelsior, and may the Force be with you, always.
