M5 World Championship – Day 7: Knockout Stage Begins
The M5 World Champions have entered the Knockout Stages, and the action kicked off with two exciting matches. The second match set a new viewership record for the M5 World Championship, reaching a peak of 2.2 million concurrent viewers.

In the first match, Deus Vult secured the highest-ever placement for the Eastern Europe region in an M-Series tournament by defeating Fire Flux Esports 3-1. Despite a tough fight from the Turkish champions in Game 2, Deus Vult’s coach, Flysolo, claimed victory by successfully out-drafting Fire Flux Esports based on their M5 journey. Thorn Queen, particularly with a standout performance as Lylia in Game 2, posed a constant threat to Deus Vult.
ONIC Esports faced off against Blacklist International in a gripping series between two tournament favourites. ONIC lost the first game but rallied to take the next two. However, Blacklist International dominated the fourth game, tying up the series with a significant triumph. The deciding match saw ONIC emerging victorious in just 13 minutes, sending Blacklist International to the lower brackets. Blacklist aims to navigate through the lower brackets to reach the Grand Finals for the third consecutive time in an M-series.
