Capcom Announces 2 Million Dollar Prize Pool For Next Pro Tour Event; Will Exclusively Feature Street Fighter 6
After Capcom Cup IX, the next season of the Capcom Pro Tour will not only highlight Street Fighter 6 as the exclusive game, but also feature a 2 million dollar USD prize pool.
The first-place winner of the tournament will win US$1 million, effectively putting this new Capcom Pro Tour tournament in the echelons of esports tournaments with big prize pools. This also marks the long run of Street Fighter 5, since it’ll be replaced with part 6.
The next Pro Tour season will take place in Summer 2023, and will feature both offline and online Premier events. Capcom Cup X will presumably take place in February 2024.
