Elden Ring Expansion Shadow Of The Erdtree Slays This June

The long-awaited expansion and DLC to the 2022 hit action RPG death fest Elden Ring will be out in the middle of this year.

Dubbed Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the expansion will be out on 21st June for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The DLC will take you to a new area called the Land of Shadow; vague description below.

In the Land of Shadow, Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.

The big bad at the end of the trailer is Messmer the Impaler who will most likely be the last boss of the expansion. And since developer From Software will assume you’ve already mastered the original Elden Ring, these foes will most likely use your old tricks against you.

Fortunately, you have a few new skills up your sleeve. Based on the trailer, you can get items that bolster your unarmed attacks (martial arts and flying kicks) and special crossbows with rapid-fire properties.

The collector’s edition features an artbook and a statue of Messmer himself.
