MaXXXine Trailer Teases Star-Studded Cast & A Bloody End To The Horror Trilogy
Director Ti West released two of the best recent modern horror movies in 2022; X and Pearl. Now, two years later, the final instalment of the trilogy is finally coming and a new trailer has been released for the upcoming movie, MaXXXine.
MaXXXine stars Mia Goth, who reprises her role as Maxine, alongside a star-studded cast that includes the following:
- Elizabeth Debicki
- Moses Sumney
- Michelle Monaghan
- Bobby Cannavale
- Lily Collins
- Halsey
- Giancarlo Esposito
- Kevin Bacon
In the movie, as the only survivor of a massacre, Maxine sets out for fame and success in 1980s Los Angeles. However, there’s a serial killer on the loose called the Night Stalker. It seems to be a slasher-themed movie with some meta jokes to boot, including references to other horror movies such as Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (Bates Motel appears in the trailer).
MaXXXine is slated to premiere in the US in July 2024. There’s no official release date for the movie in Malaysia at the time of writing. If you’re a horror fan, do yourselves a favour and watch the previous two movies, X and Pearl.
