Metaphor: ReFantazio Will Be Out This October

Atlus and Sega’s new JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will be out later this year.

The upcoming fantasy JRPG which lets you control a motley crew to challenge the monarchy while also following a schedule (ala the Persona games) will be out on 11 October 2024 for PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.

The game also features a hybrid of turn-based combat and real-time action ala the recent Trails of titles, but with the Atlus art style made famous by the Persona games’ artist Shigenori Soejima. Your party members can also transform into Archetypes, super-powered versions of themselves that wield awesome strength and magic.
