Hunger Games Actor Donald Sutherland Has Died
Donald Sutherland, an actor who has been around the Hollywood block and onward for 60 years, has died. He was 88.
His son Kiefer “24 Hours” Sutherland conveyed the news via X/Twitter.
“With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.”

Donald Sutherland has been in more than 190 films and TV shows, making his mark as a prolific actor with his unique off-kilter appeal in the 70s, leading to him being a veteran actor in the late 90s and onward. His notable roles include the drama Don’t Look Now, Kelly’s Heroes, and war comedy M*A*S*H.
