Ubisoft Stealth Game Splinter Cell Is Getting An Animated Series

During Netflix Geeked Week 2024, Netflix and Ubisoft Film & Television unveiled our first look at the upcoming Splinter Cell Deathwatch animated series.

It was originally announced back in 2021. Derek Kolstad, the creator of the John Wick franchise, is on board to write the series. Veteran actor Liev Schreiber will be playing Sam Fisher. This seems a bit strange considering original Splinter Cell voice actor Michael Ironside is alive and well; why not bring him back instead?

The last mainline game in the franchise was 2013’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, which was almost 10 years ago on platforms two generations ago (the PS3 and Xbox 360 era). However, there is a Splinter Cell remake in the works.
