Devil May Cry Anime Gets New Trailer, Premieres In April 2025

During Netflix Geeked Week 2024, Netflix unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Devil May Cry anime, which will premiere in April 2025.

It is being developed by Capcom, Adi Shankar, and Studio Mir. This will actually be the second anime based on the franchise after 2007’s Devil May Cry The Animated Series.

Johnny Yong Bosch will voice Dante. Previously, Devil May Cry’s original voice actor is Reuben Langdon, but some controversy with the actor got in the way; specifically his right-wing views. Which is why they’re getting the VO for Nero to voice Dante instead. This can get confusing for fans.

It’s currently unclear where the anime will take place chronologically, though probably before the events of 2019’s Devil May Cry 5.
