Yuritaro’s horror manga Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai is officially set for a TV anime adaptation! While details on the release date, staff, or cast are still under wraps, a new teaser image has been revealed, hinting at the intriguing story to come. The manga has been serialised on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website since April 2022, with the sixth volume set to hit Japanese shelves on 9 November.

The story centres on Kaya, a mischievous kindergarten girl known for causing trouble, and her teacher Chie, tasked with keeping an eye on her. Beneath Kaya’s rough exterior lies a surprising gift—she can see spirits, a talent that sometimes makes her actions seem a bit mysterious.
