The Last Of Us Season 2 Has A Release Date
Fans of Naughty Dog’s heartbreaking and bleak post-apocalyptic game series The Last Of Us can look forward to the adaptation next month.
HBO has released the official trailer of The Last Of Us’ second season, slated for 13 April on HBO and Max. The new trailer shows off Joel and Ellie in the new town they’re in, the scene where Ellie finds her first love Dina, the new antagonist Abby and the WLF faction (Washington Liberation Front), the Seraphites, and more zombies/cordyceps-slaying, all to the remixed-for-trailer tune of Nirvana’s “You Know You’re Right”. If you’ve played The Last Of Us Part 2, you’ll see a ton of familiar scenes and action beats in this trailer.
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will reprise their roles as Joel Miller and Ellie Williams respectively. Joining the recurring cast are Kaitlyn Dever as Abby Anderson, Isabella Merced as Dina, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac the WLF leader (who also was in the original The Last Of Us Part 2 game as the same character). Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin are still at the helm of the show as co-creators.
