In Zenless Zone Zero’s new update, we finally get to find out the deal between Anby and Soldier 11 and why they look and fight similar. At the same time, we also get an epilogue with a bunch of new characters named Hugo and Vivian.

But that’s not what the 1.6 update is just for; it’s also to showcase new gacha characters like S-class Soldier 0 Anby (now with a new fighting style and getup) and A-class Pulchra from the Sons of Calydon storyline a while back. Here are the guides to tell you how to use them right.

Soldier 0 Anby

Overview

Soldier 0 Anby is basically an upgraded 5-star Anby with an Attack role but still retain her Electric attribute for her moves & skills. She is an incredibly mobile character with a straightforward kit: just build up White Thunder Stacks and use your EX Special Attack when needed.

All you got to do with Anby is mark enemies, then use her special attack, then dash through enemies while building up Ultimate energy for the final blow.

However, she needs to be on the field the majority of the time to utilize her stacks, so she can’t switch out frequently if you want to use her trademark skill.

Soldier 0 Anby best builds

Best W-Engine: Severed Innocence, Zanshin Herb Case, Cannon Rotor
Drive Disc Build: Shadow Harmony (4-piece), Woodpecker Electro (2-piece)

Her equipment should focus more on her Attack, Electric Damage, and Critical Rate values.

Soldier 0 Anby Best Team

F2P Team: Soldier 0 Anby, Anby, Nicole, Electroboo (Bangboo)
Stun & Support Team: Soldier 0 Anby, Pulchra, Astra, Knightboo (Bangboo)

Soldier 0 Anby works best with a Support and Stun agent, so give her those so that they can unlease off-field Aftershock attacks while giving her the on-field spotlight.

Pulchra

Overview

This sexy furry thiren is a Stun user with Physical attributes in her attacks. She can inflict Daze off-field with her Aftershock attacks and complements well with any Attack agent you have like Zhu Yuan and in this context, Soldier 0 Anby. However, she needs to have her Mindscape levels up to M6 if you want her to work with other teams that aren’t Aftershock-centric.

Pulchra Best Build

Best W-Engines: Box Cutter, Hellfire Gears, Six Shooter
Best Drive Discs: Shadow Harmony (4 pieces), Shockstar Disco (2 pieces)

Pulchra’s priority stats should be Impact, Physical Damge, and Critical Rate to make use of her Stun attributes effectively.

Pulchra Best Teams

F2P Team: Pulchra, Nicole, Corin, Booressure (Bangboo)
Stun & Support Team: Soldier 0 Anby, Pulchra, Astra, Knightboo (Bangboo)

Pulchra is best when paired with a good Attacker. So if you have Soldier 0 Anby, odds are you would have scored a couple of Pulchras to complement her in a team.
