Diablo 4: Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian Build Guide

Diablo 4 will be out for PC and consoles starting 2nd June (early access), and with all top-tier RPGs, there’s always a new build being made for any of the game’s five classes.

This guide will teach you how to use Barbarian and their Hammer of the Ancient Core Skill to the fullest, at least in Tier 1, 2, and 3.

Overview

This simple Barbarian build from level 1 to level 50 past Tier 3 and beyond gives you what you need from a Barbarian: good damage and better defense/tankiness. Use your Shouts to buff yourself and your party, then use Lunging Strikes and Hammer of the Ancients as your main attacks, followed up with Call of the Ancient for backup.

Until you start earning Uniques and Ancestral loot in Tier 4 onward, this build will help you out as you start off on your Barbarian journey.
