Guilty Gear Strive’s Cyberpunk Edgerunners Guest Character Trailer To Debut Next Month

Here’s some news on the last Season 4 character for Guilty Gear Strive.

Guest character Lucy (from hit anime series Cyberpunk Edgerunners) will have a new character trailer popping up next month, the same week as EVO 2025 which is 1st to 3rd August PST. This was mentioned during the Guilty Gear Strive developer panel at Anime Expo 2025 a few hours ago.

Other tidbits from the panel involving CD Projekt Red (Cyberpunk 2077’s developers) are as follows:

-Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077 music will be added to Guilty Gear Strive when Lucy comes out.
-Lucy’s special arcade mode will be 3 times as long as a normal arcade character run.
-Arc System Works initially wanted Geralt and Ciri from the Witcher series. However, CD Projekt Red didn’t want to do this as Witcher 4 was on the way. Thus, Cyberpunk 2077 was a better fit for GGST’s universe.
