Kingdom Under Fire 2 MMO To Be A Fully-Priced Game, Out In November

Kingdom Under Fire 2 was originally announced back in 2008 but has since fallen in development hell for the past decade. Just when we all thought this game would never be released, publisher Gameforge has launched pre-orders for the game, as well as an epic new trailer.

Unlike other MMORPGs, Kingdom Under Fire 2 distinguishes itself by featuring RTS elements, allowing players to fight alongside and control their own armies into battle. It features three factions; the Human Alliance, Dark Legion, and Encablossians warring for dominance over the realm of Bersia.

In an interview with WCCFTech, Gameforge said:

“Through KUF2 was released as F2P title in other regions, Gameforge will publish KUF2 as a ‘buy to play’ title, as we see this as the best approach to ensure the best possible game experience fitting the content of the game.

We are still evaluating in-game purchase options at this time but will have more information on this soon.”

Despite being a premium fully-priced title, Kingdom Under Fire 2 will still feature “optional cosmetic items and convenience items such as character mounts.” Pre-order packages are currently priced at $30, $50, or $100, with each containing different contents.

No definitive release date has been given for the game, but it is slated to release for the PC sometime in November 2019.
