Mario Kart Tour Ad Shows Why Princess Peach Needs To Invest More In Workplace Safety

As a former aircraft maintenance personnel, it breaks my heart to watch the two new trailers of Mario Kart Tour. Both videos show many instances of hardworking toads getting affected by the hazards of setting up the game’s race courses in Tokyo and New York.

Take a look for yourself. Warning: This isn’t for the faint of heart.

That New York trailer in particular really makes me sick. How come nobody thought of putting barriers around that boost ramp after it was placed on the road? Now don’t you dare start blaming that toad. It’s very clear he was tired and just wanted to have a little rest. This implies that proper resting facilities were not provided. Shame!

Don’t even get me started on Tokyo. That lightning pick-up should never be passed around outside a safety bubble or any kind of non-conducive container. Heck, those toads weren’t even provided gloves!

Sure you can fix the “small” effect by just feeding them mushrooms but the injuries sustained during the shock and the overall cost of acquiring and distributing mushrooms will probably inflate expenses thus affecting the wages of the toads.

I’m so appalled by this lack of care towards workers but not appalled enough to stop myself from letting you guys know that Mario Kart Tour comes out on 25 September 2019 for iOS and Android devices.
