Atlus Might Reveal Persona 5 Royal Western Release Date Next Month

Atlus is teasing that they will be making a major announcement about Persona 5 Royal for Western (or international) players next month.

While the developer/publisher didn’t specify what exactly the announcement will be, it’s safe to assume that it will likely be the highly-anticipated release date to the game, which already launched in Japan last month on 31 October 2019.

According to the tweet on the official Atlus Twitter account, there are 12 days left to the Persona 5 Royal announcement, which is slated to arrive at 9am PT on 3 December 2019, or 1am GMT+8 on 4 December 2019 for those living in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, etc).

The tease for the announcement is a calling card from the Phantom Thieves, which states:

To all Phantom Thieves in the making in the west:

You have 12 days until we expose the truth of Persona 5 Royal once and for all.

We already know that Persona 5 Royal is set to release internationally sometime in Spring 2020, but this announcement will probably reveal a more definitive release date. Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei until then.

In the meantime, check out this new Persona 5 Royal opening.
