Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Features Raiden’s Brother And Robocop?!?

Last year’s Mortal Kombat 11 was a fun 2D fighting game with tons of potential when it comes to expanding itself. The game did just that with its past roster additions including DC’s Joker and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.

Not content with just DLC, NetherRealm Studios is upping the ante with the Aftermath Edition of the game. This expansion will feature:

  • Mortal Kombat kharacters Sheeva and Fujin joining the roster as playable characters.
  • A new Story mode that kontinues right after the ending of Mortal Kombat 11, where Fire God Liu Kang is being stopped by Shang Tsung from changing the time line.
  • The return of past stage enders like Friendships and Stage Fatalities. These kome free for every MK11 player alongside new stages. That’s good, because these new Friendships are utterly hilarious and comes equipped with better music than the entire game.
  • A new guest kharacter: Robocop. No, I’m not s***ting you.

Personally, I’d like to test out Fujin’s new moves and sword-fighting style. But really, we’re all here to see if Robocop’s fatality will involve ED-209. If you’re looking to kome back to the series, now’s a good time as any. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will roll out on 26th May. You can either buy it as an expansion (US$39.99) or get the kollection for regular triple-A game price (US$59.99).
