Fatality! How To Perform Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Dramatic Intros & Finishes

Been playing a lot of Dragon Ball FighterZ? We have, and turns out there’s a bunch of easter eggs for you manga and anime fans out there.

Dragon Ball FighterZ brings in special intros and finishing animations called Dramatic Intros and Dramatic Finishes. They are re-enactments of iconic moments in the show which you can pull off at the start and at the end of a match, provided you meet the requirements.

We have most of them laid out for you to discover for yourself. We’ll update this list if we find new ones.

Dramatic Intros

This one’s easy. You must have these characters as point characters and set the correct stage to see the intros.

Krillin: You must use Nappa as your starting opponent. The stage must be Rocky Field.

Gohan (Teen): You must use Cell as your starting opponent. Set the stage to Cell Games Arena. Android 16 cannot be on either team.

Goku: You must use Frieza as your starting opponent. The stage must be Planet Namek. Krillin cannot be on either team.

Dramatic Finishes

To pull these off, you need to set up the correct stage and the correct final opponent. When he or she is close to a KO, finish them off with a neutral Heavy Attack (ie the one that launches enemies to the wall).

Some Dramatic Finishes require a stage to be destroyed first; pull off a Level 3 Super as a deathblow to do this, like Cell’s Solar Kamehameha or Goku’s SSJ3 move. Preferably on the first or second opponent.

Gohan (Teen): Cell has to be the last opponent. The Cell Games Arena stage must be selected and must be destroyed before doing this. Goku cannot be on either team.

Beerus: Goku must be the last opponent. You have to use the Space stage. and use the Space stage. Alternatively, you can use Goku Black as your opponent with any stage, but Goku Black has to be below 10% health when Beerus’s super attack is used.

Goku: Frieza has to be the last opponent. You have to set the stage to Planet Namek. The stage has to be destroyed. Or you can just opt for Planet Namek (Destroyed).

Trunks: Frieza must be the last opponent. You must fight in the Rocky Field (Noon) stage.

Nappa: Yamcha must be the last opponent. You must fight in the Rocky Field (Noon) stage.

Yamcha: Nappa must be the last opponent. You must fight in the Rocky Field (Noon) stage. Also this was a long time coming for Dragon Ball’s beta male.

Goku: You must fight Kid Buu last. You have to select Land of the Kais stage.

Hope that helped. Oh, and if you’re lazy, you can just watch all of them below (via Zanar Aesthetics)
