Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition Will Take Up 105GB Of Your PS5’s 825GB

The PlayStation 5’s 825GB SSD should make for a convenient and fast-loading gaming experience. However, I’m not sure if 825GB is large enough given the ever-growing size of video game installs these days.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be continuing this trend with its “minimum of 105GB” space according to the official PlayStation sales page  (via Destructoid) for the game. Keep in mind that this is the Ultimate version of the game which contains the original Marvel’s Spider-Man game. The Miles Morales sidequest will be 50GB large.

The large install size trend will not be downsizing anytime soon: the Demon’s Souls remake will take up 66GB of space. Guess the next-gen future will be a cycle of install, delete, and re-install. Call of Duty Modern Warfare and its Warzone cousin aren’t alone in this regard.
