The Next Battlefield Game Will Be Out Holiday 2021 Alongside Six New “Next-Gen” EA Titles

The next Battlefield multiplayer shooter title from DICE will be out in holiday 2021 according to a recent EA second quarter fiscal report for 2021. According to EA CEO and fistbump in human form Andrew Wilson, he hypes it as the biggest one yet.

At least map-wise, according to the report.

“DICE is creating our next Battlefield game with never-before-seen scale. The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver on a true next-gen vision for the franchise.”

On the same report, the CEO said that six new games from EA are set to launch for “next-gen consoles” in the fiscal year 2022. These titles will release between October 2021 to 2022. We know one of them will be a Need For Speed entry, and it’ll be from Burnout creators Criterion. There is no mention of a new Star Wars game, Dragon Age entry, or the Anthem reboot anywhere on the report. Guess the latter seems like a pipe dream, unsurprisingly.
