PSX SEA 2018 Will Be In Bangkok, Thailand This August

Earlier this week, PlayStation Asia teased its PlayStation Experience (PSX) SEA gaming expo. We even came up with a few predictions ourselves on where it may take place.

Turns out that it’ll be in Bangkok, Thailand on the 18 and 19 August at the GMM Live House. Unlike the one last year in KL, this new PSX SEA will last for 2 days over the weekend.

Here’s what we said about Thailand being a viable spot for the next PlayStation Experience SEA 2018 expo:

Bangkok is an interesting city which everyone should consider visiting at least once in their lifetime. The atmosphere in the city is awesome, the Thais are among the friendliest people on Earth and Bangkok is home for the best street food scene in Southeast Asia.

Game-wise, the burgeoning esports scene in Thailand should not be taken lightly and they have one of the most rapidly growing gaming communities in the region. For your information, Bangkok is set to host one of the Overwatch World Cup stages this year and that alone says a lot about their capabilities to host world-class events.

Here are the confirmed games for the expo so far, with more titles to be announced closer to the date. Let’s hope PlayStation gets to it, for their sake. We’re very sure the SEA gaming crowd would rather see a Resident Evil 2 remake build or a Ghost of Tsushima demo than these VR offerings.
