It’s that time of the year again, as the Chinese New Year arrives with renewed wealth and prosperity. To celebrate the Lunar New Year 2019, Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) has announced that special offerings and discounts to commemorate the beginning of the Year of the Pig.

For starters, the PlayStation Store Lunar New Year Sale will offer up to 80% discount on selected PS4 titles from 31 January to 13 February 2019. This includes games like God of War 3 Remastered, Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection, and more. An exclusive PS Plus 12-Month Membership + 3-Month bonus will also be available during the same timeframe.

Besides that, a PS Plus Lunar New Year Contest will be launched on the PlayStation Asia official Facebook page starting today at 12pm. Campaign posts will detail what participants are required to do in order to win over 160 prizes, including PS4s, PS VRs, Wireless Headset-3D Surround Audio, and PSN money vouchers. Keep in mind that this contest is reserved for PS Plus members only, and every participant will receive a PS4 Toro Lunar New Year Theme for free.
