New Hot Toys Hellboy Looks Heavenly
By Alleef Ashaari|April 19, 2019|0 Comment
While the recent Hellboy reboot may have been divisive, to say the least, I personally loved it for being a more faithful comic book adaptation of the source material compared to the older Guillermo Del Toro movies.
Hot Toys has officially unveiled a 1/6th scale collectible figure of Hellboy from director Neil Marshall’s new take on Big Red. The new Hellboy figure looks very much like actor David Harbour, along with his movie-accurate long hair and facial expressions.
It comes with three variations of Hellboy‘s Right Hand of Doom and six variations of his normal left hand. As for his costume, it’s great seeing the BPRD (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense) logo on his shirt, along with an impressively-detailed utility belt and gun holster.
In the weapons department, this Hellboy ain’t no slouch. He has his sword Excalibur (just like the one in the movie), two pistols, and a hellishly-awesome Excalibur on fire.
Fans of the comics will know that Hellboy‘s true name, Anung Un Rama, means “And Upon His Brow Is Set A Crown Of Flame”. In light of that, it’s incredible that this Hellboy figure actually comes with a Crown of Flame accessory. How cool is that?
Check out the 1/6th scale collectible figure of Hellboy below.
