When Apex Legends dropped to the scene, a lot of players flocked to the game, especially a lot of players from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). While PUBG features a few modes; namely solo, duos, and squads, Apex Legends only offered trios. So, as usual, the fourth member of your squad has to drop to make way for the other friends to start kicking ass on Respawn’s battle royale.

A few weeks back, I reported a leak stating there will be new modes. While I did remind readers to take it with a grain of salt, the leak did come to fruition.

A Reddit user asked over on the subreddit if there will be new modes in the game. The community manager, u/JayFresh_Respawn responded with a short yet complete response;

At this point, no details have been shared, although we think it might be somewhat similar to Fortnite’s Save The World mode. It could also indicate duos, or solos, or even full squads of four. Other leaks include vehicles, NPCs, and maybe even a flamethrower.

Whatever it is, we should wait for any official announcements and still take leaks cautiously.
