This Is The Malaysian Stranger Things Fan Art Picked By Netflix

Netflix is celebrating the upcoming premiere of Stranger Things Season 3 by choosing unique fan art from 18 artists around the world to interpret the 18 earlier episodes of the 80s sci-fi series’ past two seasons in their own creative perspectives.

One of those 18 artists is Malaysia’s very own Lyn-Hui Ong from Penang. She created a fan art based on the Stranger Things Season 2 Chapter Two: ‘Trick or Treat, Freak’ episode in her own style.

Lyn-Hui Ong is a graphic designer and children’s book illustrator raised in Penang, Malaysia. The graduate of Advertising and graphic design is also the co-founder of ForReal Studio, where she works with different publishers such as Hinkler Books and Odonata Books.

Besides commissioned works, she creates and shares fan art of her favorite movies and shows, illustrations of cats, and comics with the goal of educating people on how to deal with grief on her Instagram account. She strongly believes that “no dream is too big”.

Her Stranger Things fan art was recently featured on the official Stranger Things Instagram and Facebook accounts. You can also check it out on her own personal Instagram account here, or feast your eyes on it below.
