The Moonton Epicon 2019 has just wrapped up and a ton of great announcements for Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) were made. The biggest one is definitely the unveiling of the MLBB M1 World Championship, the first ever annual international Mobile Legends tournament.
The tournament will be happening in November with qualifiers being held from 11 November to 14 November 2019. The venue for the qualifiers has yet to be announced but the final playoffs is confirmed to be held in Malaysia at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. The three-day playoffs will start on 15 November and end on 17 November 2019.
I’m sure MLBB fans will be wondering the same question: Who can join the tournament?
The answer is pretty much anyone who loves playing Mobile Legends and has a squad. Your team must consist of five members, four main players and one substitute. There will be four regional qualifiers around the globe; Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. Check out the list here for info on how many teams will be selected from each region:
The M1 will be the largest international Mobile Legends tournament and to accommodate the all the attention it’ll be getting, Moonton has decided to partner with YouTube to livestream the matches. So don’t sweat it if you can’t make it for the playoffs.
If you’re eager for more professional MLBB action, check out the upcoming MLBB Professional League (MPL) MY/SG Season 4 tournament which will have its Malaysia qualifiers start tomorrow 19 July and end on 21 July 2019. The Singapore qualifiers wiill take place from 27 July to 28 July 2019.
