Mario Kart Tour Launches On Mobile Next Month

Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart Tour is slated to release for Android and iOS devices next month on 25 September 2019. Official English and Japanese Twitter accounts for the game have also been launched ahead of its release.

Gamers can now pre-register on the App Store and Google Play. According to the game’s official description, they can look forward to race around courses inspired by real-world cities in addition to classic Mario Kart courses, which will rotate every two weeks.

Favourite Mario characters will also receive variations that incorporate the local flavour of cities featured in the game. There will also be a new Frenzy Mode, which gives an unlimited supply of a certain item and makes players temporarily invincible.

Although Mario Kart Tour will be free-to-play, there will be in-app purchases. However, players can still earn the in-game currency call Grand Stars by racing or fire off the featured pipe to receive more drivers, karts, and gliders.

In the meantime, check out the official gameplay trailer below.
