Retro gaming fans who cherished the true Mega Man games on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS: rejoice! There’s going to be an upcoming Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection due for the PS4, and also on Xbox One, Nintendo SwitchSwitch, and PC, on 21st January 2020.

According to the leaked trailer below via the Hong Kong PlayStation Store official trailer, the collection features:

  • all six games: Mega Man Zero 1, 2, 3, 4, Mega Man ZX, and ZX Advent.
  • an artwork and music gallery, because concept art is always pretty.
  • special filters, but honestly, seeing them in original 2D sprite glory is better.
  • Casual Scenario Mode, where pits and instant deaths will just bring you back to the last-known safe area.
  • Save-Assist, which is essentially the save states option on an emulator for this game. You’ll probably need this for the first Mega Man Zero.
  • Z Chaser mode, a leaderboard-based mode where you and a rival race each other to see who gets to the level boss and kills him/her first.

Can’t say no to more Mega Man, especially given Capcom’s redemption arc this year. For more Mega Man goodness, do check out our X series ranking guide and our Mega Man 11 review.
