Heroes Needed! Overwatch Is Free To Play For A Limited Time

It was recently announced that Gearbox’s hero shooter Battleborn has started the process of shutting down its servers. In the end, no other game in the genre can compare to the success of Overwatch and it looks like Blizzard is going to continue dominating the market.

From 26 November to 4 December 2019, Overwatch is free to play. For PC players, all you have to do is sign up for a Battle.net account, download the Battle.net app, install Overwatch, and you’re good to go. PS4 and Xbox One owners just need to download the game from their respective digital storefronts. Sorry Nintendo Switch players, no free Overwatch for you.

The best part about this free week is that you get access to everything in the game. All heroes, all maps, all game modes. To sweeten the deal, you get to keep your progress if you decide to buy the game after the free trial ends. The standard edition of the game is being sold at a discounted price of US$14.99 (~RM63) while the Legendary Edition is on sale for just US$20.00 (~RM84).

For those of you who already own the standard edition of Overwatch, you can upgrade to Legendary Edition for just US$5.00 (~RM21). Now that’s one heck of a bargain.

The Overwatch free trial will last until 4 December 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Head on over to the Overwatch official website to sign up and download the game. We need more heroes, so what are you waiting for? Join us!
