The X-Men Is Finally Returning… In LEGO Form
After years of complicated and convoluted nonsense with the position and rights of the X-Men in the Marvel universe (both in the comics and in the real world), LEGO has finally announced a full new LEGO X-Men set. This will be the first full LEGO X-Men set since 2014, which was almost a decade ago.
The LEFO X-Men X-Jet set is launching on 1 January 2024, and it’s inspired by the upcoming X-Men ‘97 animated series, which is a sequel to the legendary and classic ‘90s X-Men The Animated Series. It comes with four minifigures; Wolverine, Rogue, Cyclops, and Magneto, as well as a buildable version of the X-Men’s blackbird jet.
It’s quite expensive, costing a whopping US$85 (which is roughly almost RM400).
However, it’s the best time for new X-Men products to be released, considering that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally starting to embrace the Children Of The Atom, beginning with 2022’s Ms. Marvel and the post-credits scenes in 2023’s The Marvels, as well as the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie that will premiere in 2024.
It’s getting better and better for X-Men fans again.
