Captain Marvel 2 Movie Slated For 2022

You can’t keep a super-powered heroine down.

Carol Danvers a.k.a Captain Marvel will make a return in another solo film presumably in 2022. This is despite mediocre reviews of the film from the public and from sane reviewers who don’t have a “SJW”-esque agenda and instead critique films on their merit and storytelling. It probably has a lot to do with the US$1.1 billion box office haul.

Director and writer duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will not be doing the sequel (via Hollywood Reporter). Instead, Disney Plus show WandaVision’s staff writer Megan McDonnell will be penning the script to Captain Marvel 2, or whatever the heck the sequel will call itself.

The film will be set in the present day and may centre on Carol Danvers adventuring off-world. Brie Larson will reprise her role of the superpowered asskicker. Hopefully, she doesn’t get a case of the foot in mouth when she goes on public interviews and talks.
