World Champions Form Spine of FIFA 20’s Team of The Year
By Kenn Leandre|January 7, 2020|0 Comment
Recently crowned World Champions and reigning UEFA Champions League winners, Liverpool FC make the bulk of FIFA 20’s Team of The Year lineup, with five players being included in the first eleven.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker, wingbacks Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson, living specimen Virgil van Dijk and my favorite Muslim, Sadio Mane were all included in the annual lineup which also saw ‘I can’t believe we blew a 3 goal lead!’ Lionel Messi accompanied by his club teammate, Frenkie de Jong making Barcelona the only other team to be represented by more than one player.
Thanks to the Liverpool contingent, the English Premier League dominate this year’s TotYs, with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Chelsea’s N’golo Kante making it an EPL-dominated lineup.

Following this, special updated (and overpowered) FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) player cards will be revealed in waves to reflect each player’s achievements in 2019. The first batch featuring the front three are as follows:
Expect more reveals to come up shortly as EA Sports reveal the rest of the TotY versions for the players involved. If Trent doesn’t get a 99 for crossing, EA Sports is cancelled.
