Platinum Game’s Next Title May Be An Homage To Ultraman

Update: here’s the teaser trailer. Looks epic!

Original story

Platinum Games’ next project is a brand new IP called Project GG. It’d be directed by Hideki Kamiya, the director of Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101, and will be the studio’s first self-published title.

The news comes via an interview from Famitsu magazine, as seen on RyoKutya2089. As reported by Siliconera, Kamiya said in the interview that:

“If Viewtiful Joe is like a Kamen Rider transformation, [and] if Wonderful 101 is a squadron, Project G.G. is like a huge hero”.

Twitter user Wario64 wrote that the game will be a “big hero” action game that’s likely to be inspired by Ultraman. Both Siliconera and Wario64 also said that Platinum Games will try to launch the game on all currently-available platforms.
