RTS Classic Company Of Heroes Is Now On Mobile
By Alleef Ashaari|February 13, 2020|0 Comment
Relic Entertainment’s Company Of Heroes originally launched in 2006 and has since been regarded as an RTS classic. Fourteen years later, the game is finally coming out on mobile devices for the first time, though only on the iPad for now.
Feral Interactive, who also developed several Total War games for Android and iOS devices, is responsible for the new iPad version of Company Of Heroes. Surprisingly, the game is already available for purchase now on the Apple App Store for only RM57.90, though the base game is actually still cheaper on PC (RM38 on Steam).
It remains to be seen if Feral Interactive will ever be porting the game’s expansions like they did with Rome: Total War Alexander in 2019. Although Company Of Heroes is only available for the iPad for now, it will highly-likely release for Android devices as well, but it might take a while.
Company of Heroes for iPad will support any iPad released since 2017 or any iPad Pro, and requires iOS 13.1 or later. Players will need 6GB of free space to install the game and all of its free content packs, but 8GB of free space is recommended to avoid installation issues.
This is a good time to replay an RTS classic, which will give a much-needed image boost for Relic Entertainment, who is currently busy working on the most highly-anticipated RTS game of all time, Age Of Empire IV.
