[Rumour] Two PS5 Consoles Incoming

If the rumours are to be believed, Sony will be releasing two PS5 consoles this year.

As reported by TweakTown, vetted NeoGAF user VFXVeteran claims to have heard of both Sony and Microsoft developing two consoles each. In Sony’s case, there is the base PlayStation 5 model with nine teraflops and another “top of the line” model to go head-to-head with the Xbox Series X. In Microsoft’s case, it will apparently have a “base Xbox Series X that is slower” than the currently revealed model.

The exact pricing for the high-end models are unknown but will be “expensive”. VFXVeteran guesses that they will be around $600 (RM2500+). Previously, we wrote that the regular PS5 might be sold for around $500 (RM2000+) due to high production costs.
