Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare And Warzone To Up Their Anti-Cheater Game

Infinity Ward is implementing new measures to handle cheaters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, with two features in particular standing out.

The first is that with the updated matchmaking system, suspected cheaters will be matched with other suspected cheaters. So if you wanted such players to get a taste of their own medicine, you’ve got your wish.

The second is that if a player you reported gets banned, you’ll get in-game confirmation. A sense of closure and satisfaction from knowing that the cheater you reported got banned? Yes please.

These features are coming this week. Meanwhile, a feature that lets you report players during Killcam or Spectate modes will be “coming soon”.

The battle royale mode for 2019’s Call of Duty, ‘Warzone’ is free to play. Find out what we thought of it here.
