Total Tank Simulator Brings Tank Placement Action To PC On 20th May

World of Tanks isn’t the only game in town to satiate your tank simulation fix, at least in 2020.

Noobz from Poland’s upcoming Total Tank Simulator, published by 505 Games, seems to be a worthy addition to any World War 1 and World War II tank fan, letting you place a bunch of realistic tanks (and infantries, planes, artillery, and so forth) on your side of the top-down map to fight the opposition in automatic simulation glory. And you don’t have to wait too long to get it: the game will be out on PC via Steam on 20th May.

It also costs RM49/SG$19.99, so it won’t break your wallet. In fact, players can save 10 percent off by buying the game during its launch week. That discount value may bump itself up to 25 percent if its 505 Games’ wish list campaign is unlocked; you can chip in and control its price on its official Steam page.

We checked out the game during a timed preview session a couple of days ago. It reminds me of a more realistic-yet-still-red-and-blue-stylized version of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, except with a focus on tanks and World War-era military battalions. With these kinds of games, it’s the realistic physics-based engine and AI simulation that either makes them hit or miss. So far, Total Tank Simulator is a hit.

With more than 50 maps to choose from, hundreds of historical and classified weapons and units to play around with, and a bunch of awesome modes (Sandbox, Shadow, Campaign) featuring six historical nations to play as, you’re going to have your hands full with this simulation later in May. Check out the game’s sweet screenshots below.
