Apex Legends will officially kick off Season 5: Fortune’s Favor on 12 May 2020, and a new full-length trailer has revealed more about the latest Legend to join the battle royale game; Loba Andrade.

The brand new Apex Legends Season 5 trailer puts the spotlight on Loba Andrade, as she sneaks into what seems to be a research lab that manufactures simulacra, the same type of robots that Revenant belongs to.

It turns out that Revenant murdered her parents and she’s now trying to take revenge. However, when she tries to destroy one of them, she sets off an alarm, causing dozens of enemies to come swooping in. She takes down a few of them with her staff, setting off an explosion that annihilates the factory.

The trailer then shows Loba emerging unscathed from the explosion, thanks to some kind of barrier protecting her. She even exhibits teleportation abilities while trying to get to safety, but then meets several of the game’s other legends, including Revenant himself.

It’s possible that Loba will have some sort of barrier and teleport skills when she arrives in the game, but none of that has been confirmed yet. Loba will officially join the roster of Apex Legends when Season 5: Fortune’s Favor begins on 12 May 2020 at 1pm EDT (or on 13 May 2020 at 1am GMT+8 for Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia).

Besides new Legend Loba Andrade, Apex Legends Season 5 will also introduce Quests, Ranked Mode Series 4, and an all-new Battle Pass with over 100 exclusive items to look forward to.
