Here Are All The Highlights From Today’s Xbox Series X 2020 Showcase

The Inside Xbox Presents First Look Xbox Series X Gameplay live stream earlier today have given us our first taste of games coming to the upcoming next-gen console. The presentation showcased a bunch of titles featuring in-engine ‘gameplay’ footage, or rather, what they’re expected to look like running on the Xbox Series X.

Keep in mind that all of the games listed below are from third-party developers, which means that they will likely be released on other platforms like the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, or PC as well. They are NOT Xbox exclusives.

Check out my full recap and roundup of the Inside Xbox Series X 2020 below:

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

Ubisoft unveiled our first look at ‘gameplay’ footage from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. However, instead of actual unfiltered gameplay footage, the trailer simply features what seems to be staged gameplay segments with the UI stripped from them, which is not what fans expect when they hear the word ‘gameplay’.

We do get to see Stonehenge, several combat sequences and a clearer look at protagonist Eivor’s raven companion. It is slated to launch for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X sometime in Holiday 2020.

For more on everything, we know so far about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (including gameplay details and different editions), head on over here.
