Logitech X Herman Miller Looks Like A Big Winner In The Gaming Chair Wars
By Alleef Ashaari|July 23, 2020|0 Comment
Herman Miller is one of the most renowned home furniture companies in the world. And they’ve officially partnered with peripherals maker Logitech to make the ultimate gaming chair; the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair.
While it will set you back a whopping US$1,500, the Embody Gaming Chair was designed with help from 30 physicians, with a focus on good posture and the ability to sit in one spot for an extended period of time.
It’s expensive as hell because it features padding with “copper-infused particles†designed to cool off the body, and “pixelated support,†which helps more evenly distribute the sitter’s weight. The 12-year warranty also helps justify the insane price-tag.Â
So far, there’s no release date for the chair, or whether it will be available outside of the US of A. Here’s the official description:
Thanks to a dynamic matrix of pixels, Embody’s seat and back surfaces automatically conform to your body’s micro-movements, distributing your weight evenly as you sit.
This reduces pressure and encourages movement, both of which are key to maintaining healthy circulation and focus.
In times of a crisis or pandemic where working from home is viable, it pays to have a great, sturdy, and long-lasting chair that can serve your all-day sitting habits until the end of eternity. If this crossover is anything like the OG Embody, it’ll probably be worth it.
