[Rumour] New Nintendo Switch Console Is Coming In 2021

Nintendo will allegedly launch a new version of the Nintendo Switch console in early 2021.

According to a report from Economic Daily News (via VGC), the new version of the Switch will enter production later this year and feature improved “interactivity” and a better quality display.

It’s unclear at this point whether the next Nintendo Switch will be a massively reworked console, or a subtle upgrade similar to the previous Enhanced Nintendo Switch model. To compete with next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, it will need to be the former.

Rumours of a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch Pro began in 2019 and were recently sparked up again earlier this year. However, Nintendo themselves later clarified that they had no plans to release a new Nintendo Switch in 2020. Still, a 2021 release window for a new Nintendo Switch is quite potentially possible.
