Chaos Walking Trailer Shows Tom Holland & Daisy Ridley In Action
Chaos Walking is an upcoming new sci-fi action thriller that stars Tom Holland (the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars’ Rey).
Directed by Edge Of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, Chaos Walking is based on the novel by Patrick Ness, who also co-wrote the screenplay adaptation with Christopher Ford.
The official plot synopsis for Chaos Walking breaks down the film as follows:
“In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by ‘the Noise’ – a force that puts all their thoughts on display.
In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.”
In addition to Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, Chaos Walking also boasts a star-studded cast that includes Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas, Kurt Sutter, and David Oyelowo.
Chaos Walking is slated to release sometime in 2021.
