WandaVision Offers First Look At Classic Sitcom-Inspired Episode
In September 2020, Disney Plus released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming TV series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; WandaVision. However, since then, no news has been revealed, until now.
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, the streaming service revealed several new screenshots from the first episode of the series’ first season, which will run for a total of six episodes.

The first episode of WandaVision will be in black and white, inspired by the classic golden age sitcoms from the 50s like The Dick Van Dyke Show, Father Knows Best, The Partridge Family, and Bewitched.
WandaVision will be set after 2019’s Avengers Endgame, with the married Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) seemingly happy in the idyllic town of Westview. However, all is not as it seems.
WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer said:
“We find Wanda and Vision living a blissful suburban existence, trying to keep their powers under wraps.
The show is a love letter to the golden age of television.
We’re paying tribute and honoring all of these incredible shows and people who came before us, [but] we’re also trying to blaze new territory.â€
WandaVision still doesn’t have a release date, but the series will apparently premiere before the end of 2020.
