Star Wars KOTOR 2 Is Coming To Mobile Devices Next Week
Aspyr and Lucasfilm have announced that Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II is slated to launch on Android, iOS, and iPad later this month on 18 December 2020.Â
Star Wars fans don’t need an introduction to Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II. For those who don’t know, it is the 2004 sequel to 2003’s Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic RPG by BioWare. To this day, both games are fondly remembered as two of the best Star Wars games ever made.
In addition, both games also added a lot to Star Wars lore, though most of that is now regarded as non-canon Legends.
However, new shows and movies like The Mandalorian and Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker have slowly re-introduced certain elements from these games back into canon, like the HK-87 assassin droids appearing in Season 2 Episode 5 Chapter 13 The Jedi and a Darth Revan easter egg.
According to developer Aspyr, Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II on mobile will be optimized for mobile devices. Pre-order and pre-registration are available now on both platforms.
