These Were The Most Popular Mobile Games In 2020

Mobile games are raking in millions and billions of money around the world. Last year was an especially big year for the industry, considering how many people stayed at home due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. According to mobile data analytic company App Annie, these were the most popular mobile games in 2020 divided by countries:

United States

  1. ROBLOX
  2. Coin Master
  3. Call Of Duty Mobile
  4. State Of Survival
  5. Gardenscapes New Acres

What’s interesting is that ROBLOX also ranks as one of the top games in several South American countries, such as Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.

Meanwhile, in Europe, ROBLOX is only popular in the UK, and Germany to a lower extent. European countries have a more diverse choice of top mobile games in 2020, though State Of Survival is featured in all four countries.

In Asian countries, where mobile games are even more popular, the top games are even more diverse. You can see for yourselves below:

Some of the games featured in the rankings above have brought in big bucks. Both Coin Master and ROBLOX earned a whopping US$1.1 billion in 2020, while PUBG Mobile earned an incredible US$2.6 billion. Mobile games aren’t slowing down anytime soon.
